With the new year here and the winter cold still in full effect, there has been a lot more buyer activity in the marketplace. I have seen a lot of people start talking about buying their first home or moving up to a bigger house. With interest rates hovering around 5 percent at the time of this blog, this is a really good time to take advantage of the marketplace.
One of our listings that we reduced the price on recently is a HUGE home in the Braemar community in Bristow, VA. It is 10017 Broadsword-check it out at http://10017broadsworddrive.epropertysites.com/ - with over 5000 square feet of living space and has five bedrooms and four and half bathrooms on four finished levels.
Braemar has over 2800 homes in the subdivision and boasts two swimming pools and a clubhouse and so many other amenities. There is even a shopping center right in the neighborhood and includes a completely remodeled Safeway grocery store, a Safeway gas station (that is partnered with the grocery store to offer discounts on fuel), multiple restaurants and banks and has one of my favorite locations…Caribou Coffee.
The community also has its own elementary school, Cedar Point Elementary onsite and is what I would call a planned unit development since it offers multiple walking/jogging trails and basketball, volleyball and tennis courts as well as soccer fields.
